Browser Extension Information
If you install the FableLayer browser extension, we may collect information necessary to provide extension features, including story title, author, source website, story and chapter URLs, chapter number, reading progress, highlighted passages, reading memories, user reactions, and personal notes. The extension only processes information required to perform the features you request. It does not monitor your general browsing activity or collect unrelated browsing history.
Subscription Information
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment information is processed securely by our payment provider. FableLayer does not store complete payment card numbers or security codes. We may retain limited billing information such as subscription plan, billing status, payment history, and transaction identifiers.

FableLayer offers optional AI-powered features designed to enhance your reading experience. These features may analyze story metadata, reading preferences, reading history, favorite fandoms, saved memories, collections, reading patterns, and imported story information to provide personalized recommendations, trope analysis, tone detection, reading insights, emotional journey summaries, and other AI-assisted features.
AI-generated content is intended to assist your reading experience and may occasionally contain inaccuracies or incomplete information. AI-generated recommendations should not be considered factual statements about authors or stories.
AI Processing
When AI features are used, certain information may be securely processed by trusted third-party AI providers acting on behalf of FableLayer. These providers process information only for the purpose of generating the requested feature.
FableLayer does not intentionally use your personal reading library to train publicly available artificial intelligence models.
The FableLayer browser extension is optional. If installed, it provides features such as reading progress synchronization, saving highlighted passages, creating reading memories, recording reactions, and saving personal notes.

FableLayer allows users to voluntarily share selected reading activity, such as public story pages, reading milestones, shared collections, reading progress, and future community features.
